The Importance Of Skill Acquisition To A Woman

Skill acquisition is the process use to learn or acquire new skills. On the other hand, skill is being able to carry out a tack or and act. In some countries skill is called "handwork"; you knowing how to beak, how to make shoes, how to make beads  or sowing.

Why am I trying to narrate this down to women? It's the fact that so many women out there are always dependent on some other person for the means of livelihood. As a girl child,  you grow up in a family and then your dependent on your parents for sustenance. After that you move out and then you're in a higher institution, then you have a boyfriend and you start depending on your boyfriend, expecting him to give you money all the time (I wanna buy pant, make my hair). And when he doesn't have the money to give to you, you become angry.

Now you move on from been a girlfriend to becoming somebody's wife, then you just decide "my husband is very rich", he can afford to take me on a vacation, he can afford to spend all his money on me. So I don't need to learn any skills, I don't need to better myself and better the world around me. And you depend on your husband to take care of you. "My dear, there will definitely be a future disturbance". The problem with that is once that support system is taken away from you,
who then do you lean on for sustenance?,
who then do you expect to pay your bills?

Who then do you depend on
if you don't have a skill
If you don't have something that is marketable.
If you don't have something you can use to solve problems around you and at same time make money out of it.

Well at the end of the day, you'll have only yourself to depend on. It's very important that you need to have a skill. Whatever it is you are doing, there should be something on the side that you that if this doesn't workout for me today, I have a backup plan, I have something I can do to make myself some money. Maybe it may not be so much money at first, but it will be something to move you everyday.

As a woman, it is extremely important that you have a skill, it's important that you know how to do something with your hand and do it well. If there is one thing your very interested in going, why don't you go ahead and learn how to do it. Is it beads making, shoe making, event decoration. What is that thing that you can do with your hand and you enjoy doing? Put your effort, know the basic of that skill and be the master of your game.
