Creating A Home Worth Imitating

We live in an era where all kind of negative semiotics embargo have characterise most of our homes across the globe. Statistics have shown in recent years that the rate of divorce is growing in a dramatic rate while the rate of single-hood in marriage is also a thing of concern. While this is on, the rate of adultery has risen to 70% in African homes, but has become a norm in the western world. In the mist of all these anomalies, young people still craved to get married without proper preparation in all ramifications.

One critical area that is lacking among young people, is their inability to ask questions and to trust God to have role models who they can be accountable to. Because of this, a repeat of what is happening could be replicated if young people don't turn a new leave.

A friend of mine was in a Sunday service recently and a family was on stage to testify God's goodness in their lives. They have been married for 35 years and are still waxing strong. Three things were their bases for marriage success.

1. The husband has never raise his hand to beat the wife ever since they got married.
2. Both spouses never reported each other to the church leadership for what so ever reason.
3. Even when there were problems to settle, not even the children have the privilege of hearing either issues nor the resolution there after.

At this point, the congregation of over 1500 gave them arousing applause, as this gesture was rare in the era of mistrust, divorce and anarchy to mention but a few.

On my part, I found the life of this family a template to build mine. My friend if your home will be worth imitating, it must first be built on a solid rock which is the creator. It is glaring that without him, the only thing one do is nothing.

It is better late than be late, it is better to wait than waste in an unfulfilled marital bless. It is much better to remain single than become single while in your matrimonial home. Let him that has ears hear what the spirit is saying.
